About Us

Those born in the 20th century know that the pen against the sword, the idea against violence, virtue against materialism and reason against stupidity are always right, legitimate and superior. Maybe it cannot win, defeat, prevail or dominate, but it is superior. In fact, winning, prevailing and dominating are not goals for those who have an ideal, a cause, a spiritual belief. The goal is always to be on the right path, to have direction, to live with virtue and dignity.

Ideas, if they contain this goal, are valuable. They are permanent, honorable. Any idea that rejects the servitude of man to man is valuable. Any formula that tames man’s animal nature is important. Every call that invites man from ‘esfel-i safilin’ to ‘eşref-i mahlukat’ is saintly.

The greatest misfortune of those born in the 20th century is that they fought for lofty, precious, valuable ideas and witnessed the opposite outcome. The trauma of having to face constant disappointments, spiritual defeats and unimaginable consequences has produced deep despair. All the suffering, all the unrequited sacrifices, all the lost years, all the people of all persuasions who sacrificed themselves for someone else, for others to be happier, is now a deep abyss. If you look at the abyss for too long, the abyss will look at you.(Nietzsche)

Critical Gaze sets out to be the platform for those who stop looking into the abyss. It aims to be the internal and external voice of those who, despite everything, stubbornly and hopefully hold on to life with virtue and dignity. It aims to be a voice that still believes that it can change the world, the country, societies and people; that does not submit to any unjust, unjust, cruel, anti-human power; that resists all irrational life forms imposed on human beings; that challenges lies, falsehood and falsehood. It dreams of being the bastion of those who defend the supremacy of the Word, the idea, virtue, reason and faith. It invites those who believe that the world and Turkey will be changed by the ideas in which justice and goodness prevail, to walk together with the truth travelers who think, discuss, seek, question and question the truth by throwing off the imposed ideological, ethnic, religious and sectarian baggage and re-thinking, discussing, searching and questioning with a free mind without idols, taboos, fetishes and dogmas.

Kritik Bakış calls on all the intellect, ideas and virtue necessary for those born in the 21st century to be equipped with an accumulation of experience and a stronger faith so that they will not experience the same traumas, disappointments and pessimism as their parents.

the word is not exhausted, hope lives on.
